SHOSHANA ROSEN
B R I D E S M A I D
The Marshall MBA program has given the wedding couple far more than just Vinh's graduate degree. It gave them an otherwise unlikely opprtunity to watch games from the student section, a billion excuses to dress up in crazy-costumes for themed-events where they carried on as if they were still active greeks, and most importantly, it gave the couple a third "circle" of friends. The creme de la creme of this nouveau group includes the esteemed Ms. Shoshana Rosen.
In a word, having Shoshana in our lives is straight "kismet." She is the epitome of a great friend for both Vinh and Charisse who love her so so much. As a matter of fact, both knew that she would be a bridesmaid long before either bride or groom ever decided that an "engagement" was gonna happen. Shosh is the girl who gets things done, and done well. At school (and outside of school) she keeps Vinh on check with projects and tasks ... and life (no joke). She is the one both the bride-and-groom-to-be confide in for all the randomest "ish" in their lives -- together... seperate... she's their mutual, and simultaneously mutually exclusive "go to" person... to vent to, bounce ideas off of, or just as a great person to have a genuinely awsome time with -- share a laugh... learn how to make dumplings... yes, dumplings -- "random" is somewhat of an understatement.
Shoshana has been the girl who, when Vinh's not around (or when an event is just too darn girly), has always included Charisse so she felt at ease around the Marshall girls. And when Vinh *is* in town but refuses to watch a "stupid chick-flick" Shoshana comes to his rescue. If you attended the fantabulous "proposal night" engagement surprise party, and enjoyed the venue, the host, and all of those scrumptious desserts: you can thank, Shoshana. She was the miracle worker behind all that. Oh, and those super duper chocolate chip cookies -- guess what? They were made with no butter. (what? yes, you read it correctly: "no butter")... we know what you're thinking, cus' we were there, too: "mind = blown." Extra tidbit... Shosh can sing... her voice is beauriful -- much like her smile.
