Quintessentially, Lauren is proof positive that sisters are born, not made, and regardless of where your life journey begins, God will put exactly the right person in your life, at exactly the right time.

 The strikingly beautiful Ms. Bernsen is the very first friend that Vinh made on his very first day, of his very first class at USC.  Vinh had spoken very highly of his good friend, Lauren quite often before the two girls ever met, so Charisse was extremely excited when the time finally came to "...put a face to the name."

The bride-to-be met Lauren in San Francisco at Charisse's very first "weekender" with Vinh.  (If you don't know what "the weekender," is, ask a Trojan, they'll fill you in.) That first night not long after meeting (within the hour acutally), the pair discovered that they are sisters through Kappa Kappa Gamma (thanks for letting us figure that out on our own, Vinh! lol) and suffice to say that extra little connection locked this friednship in, 'good and tight,' so to speak.  Charisse was instantly and permanently hooked on Lauren -- this bond ran deep through football games, sleepovers, dinners out, late-night heart-to-hearts and 4 years of good times later, Lauren has graciously accepted the title of 'Maid of Honor'.  A blessing in both Vinh and Charisse's life, the happy couple is even more elated by the fact that such a dear friend is taking on this very special role.

 You have actually probably already witnessed a little bit of Lauren's artistry.  She is the proprietor of the very "hot" HauteShoeStudio. She generously shared her talent with the couple on the night Vinh proposed.  (Lauren photographed the now "oh-so-familiar 'she said YES' album.' It didn't just end there, though -- Lauren also baked scrumptious mini cupcakes that Charisse greedily hoarded and  gobbled up till gone following the proposal, despite numerous declarations that she would begin the wedding diet, and perhaps one of the most important contributions Lauren has provided thus far: She explained what "the 4 C's" are, to Vinh <3).
